I've noticed that there are a number of "friends" on facebook that think having a nice digital SLR camera means that they are a talented photographer. To me, these massive sets of photos mean very little.
I don't think Dan is one of these people. Hell, Dan doesn't even put his photos on facebook.
When you look at the amount of time, consideration, and appreciation that Dan puts in to his photos, it is clear that he's working with talent.
I wanted to share this photo that we took over the christmas break. It was a team effort that took probably fifteen minutes to set-up, compose, and capture.
Some things that I like about this photo are the vectors leading towards the vanishing point, the framing of the trees and lampposts, and the obvious fact that we had to climb those stairs to get the photo.
Take from it what you want, I just hope you really appreciate Dan's work.
I will try to get a hold of some more in the future. Hopefully this summer will produce some great memories on film!
