Re-blogging, worth it?

It seems like every blog I read (and I read many) just re-posts articles from other sites. So I figure, why can't I do that here?
It happens every day. I come across a great article that I want to share so I post it to facebook or shoot out a few links. Sadly, I never know how it was received or who even read it.
I know by now that I have a pretty solid reader base. There aren't hundreds of you, but enough that I know my audience.
I get that a lot of you come here for the original material, the rants, and the playlists.
My question is, would re-blogging other material that I thought was interesting water down my own stuff?
I could see this going two ways. One, my readers would enjoy the material and come back more often. Two, they would get sick of it.
I've decided to set up a poll to see what you guys think.
Do me a favour and tell me your opinion. I have a lot of great stuff that I want to share, I just want to know if it's worth it.
